The last two calls we had were UK and US CPI. For the UK CPI our focus was the UK Core CPI y/y. This did not hit our triggers however we did have a lot of people enter using the medium triggers and pick up some nice profits. To see the video of this trade click the following link:
Nothing to report on the US CPI trade as we had no reports of entries on this release because it came in as expected and no one took a trade. To view the trade video click the following link:
OUR NEXT LIVE ON THE NEWS TRADE CALL
Tomorrow we have the CAD CPI Core which is expected to come out at .1%. If the number comes out higher than expected by .2 or more I will go short on the USD/CAD and if it comes out lower than expected by .2 or more I will go long on the USD/CAD.
I will keep a close eye on the CPI m/m as well as for any revisions. Generally these reports come out in line and it is probable that they will come out in line tomorrow howe- ver as traders we have to deal in possibilities not just the probabilities so we will definitely watch for conflicting data. This data comes out at 7am eastern.
