ForexMasterMaker Managed Account
Weekly Report for 9.07.07
This week was a busy week, but we were not entered into the market. Below you will find the list of trades that we were setup for and the outcome of those trades. Events that say “No Trade” mean that the news came out, but did not deviate enough to hit our triggers therefore nothing happens. The events that say “Requote” mean that the news did deviate enough and our software was triggered. The accounts are clicked to buy or sell and then the broker’s price has changed, therefore they offer us a different or “requoted” price from what we originally tried to enter at. Please read below for further information.
9/03/07 – AUD GDP – Requote
9/04/07 – US ISM – No Trade
9/05/07 – AUD Employment – No Trade
9/06/07 – UK Industrial Production – No Trade
9/07/07 – CAD Employment – No Trade
9/07/07 – US Non-Farm – Requote
As most of you know we typically get entered into about 3-4 trades per month on the news so it is not uncommon to see a number of “No Trades” in a row. We are however working on options/solutions to get less “requotes”. We are looking into different servers and locations that we can use to enter the managed account into the market to get the best possible results.
If you are also a self trader and are logging into the LOTN room you might hear Dustin say, “the managed accounts got filled at…”. Please keep in mind that Dustin has other managed account groupings that he is trading as well as this one and he usually will speak of them in a general term. I mention this so that you do not feel that something is wrong if he says managed accounts were entered, but your account doesn’t show it. We try to use this Weekly Report as an opportunity to display the trades from the week and let you know what you should see on your account history on a weekly basis, instead of just monthly. If you have any questions you can just reply to this email and it will open a ticket for us and we will respond as soon as possible. Have a great weekend.
